We here this misquote from the Bible in many conversations today. 'Money is the root of all evil' .
But can we say this with assurance that what we say is true?  For example, if I use a hammer to build a house that is a good thing.  Then again if I use a hammer to smash windows in stores and loot or steal is the hammer evil or are my actions evil?  The problem here is that if I say the hammer is evil then I am not being responsible for my own actions.  To further understand this lets look at what the Bible really says about Money and Evil.

"For the Love of Money is the root of all evil; which while some converted after, they erred for the faith, and pierced themselves through many sorrows, but you, O Man of Yah (God), flee these things; and follow after righteousness, Yahlikeness, faith, love, patience, and meekness. Fight the good fight of FAITH, lay hold on eternal life, for that is what you are called to do, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses." I Timothy 6:10-12

When ever the ends justify the means without thought of values and compassion, that is where money is loved above others.  In the past few years we have seen Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Baker take falls for money and in pride without the thought of their actions until it was to late.  Love of Money was the cause of the evil, money was not evil.

In proverbs we are told that Yah Veh God wants us to prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers. Many modern AMWAY gurus preach this in what I like to call the 'gospel of free enterprise' to the evangelical churches across America.  They say 'God wants you to be rich' and then sell you their secret formula in a book or tape.  I can remember a day when worship was worship not a seminar on how to get rich.

This is what Paul was writing of when he said: " which while some converted after, they erred for the faith, and pierced themselves through many sorrows ..." .  Even though these persons are converted to the faith, they err and follow money which causes them many sorrows.  Just ask Jim Baker if the million he got was worth the sorrow?  So if money is not evil, the actions of people are, then how are we to prosper and what is YAH Veh God's plan to bring us wealth and health?  To find this answer we must go to the Bible, a little read book in the churches of America.

The first part is found in Exodus 20: 24  "...in all places where I RECORD MY NAME I will come to you, and I will bless you."  So in order to be blessed we must go where the Name of the Creator is recorded.  Or, the name of YAH.  Yah told Moses this after he gave him his name and the ten commandments.  The next part of the key to true prosperity is found in Leviticus 26: 1-7 .

"You shall not make idols or graven images, and do not raise up any standing statue or any image of stone in the land that you live in, do not bow down to it or worship it, (nor any symbol) FOR I AM YAH YOUR CREATOR to be honored and praised forever and ever.  You shall KEEP my Sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I AM YAH.  IF you walk in my law, and keep my commandments, AND DO THEM; THEN I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield fruit.  And your harvest shall be throughout the seasons unto sowing time and harvest; and you shall eat bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.  And I will give peace in the land, and when you sleep, no one will make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of your land, and there will be no war in your land.  And you shall chase your enemies, and they will fall before you by the sword."  And in Verse 9 " For I will respect you, and make you fruitful, and multiply your children, and establish my covenant with you. "

This is prosperity that leaves nothing lacking.  To gain that kind of prosperity you do not need to attend a money management seminar at the local evangelical church.  You do not need to buy a book or learn to follow some incarnation of words in the mirror.  This witchcraft is throughout the Christian world today in America.  What I say has no bearing on what I have !  I do not need some millionaire Larry to sell me his ideas which amount up to the ERR Paul was warning about to Timothy.  THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT (CAUSE) OF EVIL.  Peoples Actions and People are evil, not the tools they use to live in society.

So if you want prosperity, read the Bible and keep the commandments.  You may not become rich this way but I have never gone hungry doing this.  My seven children are clothed and feed each day.  And I didn't have to come to your church Sunday morning and sell you my latest tape to hype you into Taking Yah Veh God's money out of your pocket and giving it to me.

The correct conclusion of the Bible reading Conservative in America today is to learn that
compassion for the poor and needy is the product of right living.  And selfish money gurus are eating at the roots of the FAITH that made this county great.  This is not a political view, it is a moral observation.  Prosperity is the proper balance of tithing and providing for the widows and the fatherless.  By following Yah Veh God's commandments and the New Testament example of holding a portion of the tithes for the feeding of the poor, prosperity is realized by all.

I am saddened by the mental climate in today's Evangelical churches that teach these money planning workbook seminars.  Dreams and the plans that make dreams come true are not born of selfish scams and snake oil salesmen.  Those that have achieved greatness in deed and wealth have worked for it and the truly richest such as Bill Gates, know how to give their wealth to help others achieve goals and gain the means of production by knowledge.

The governments plans to pass the poor and needy over to the Churches isn't working either.  Just last week on CSPAN I saw Immigrant children in such desperate need of medical care that there is little hope.  One child had an ear infection and due to the new Immigration laws, he now has to have a major operation and a tube in his ear because the child had no medical insurance.  The budget cuts to fund these programs of compassion were motivated by selfishness rather than true Charity and love.

The Religious Right still ignores the cries of the needy that paid into the system.  The new laws passed over the last few years cut funding not just to Immigrants that did not pay into the system, but those who worked and paid taxes for many years also. Even if social security is fixed, you can be assured that 99% will never even get back what they paid into this insurance plan. If we do the math most can figure this one out.  Lets say there are 38 million poor and disabled.  If we gave each of them one million in an account that would equal 3 billion 800 million.  The average food stamps and medical costs per each person in these systems is $18,000 per year.  So where is the rest of the money going?  Taxes for these poor and needy programs are not where all America's revenue are going.  The lions share is found in other programs.

Still we must realize that the Messiah never owned a home, had a con man to keep his money for him in Judas, and taught that you must serve Yah Vah God or money: " You can not serve two masters ".

True prosperity is eternal prosperity.  That investment is made in giving rather than receiving.  The Joy of seeing those in need gain medical care or food where they had none, is grater than that of self-centered money planning that leaves sorrow and loneliness as it's only reward.  As Paul said, we should FLEE from such things and fight the good fight of FAITH !
